Week 1 Update

8:06 PM

Hi, everyone!

I just wanted to check in with y’all and let you know how my first (documented) week of my fitness journey has been.

Food
The last week I ate pretty well. I am trying to eat as many vegetables, good sources of protein and carbs, and drink lots of water. For breakfast, I have been eating avocado toasts. I love avocado toast because they don’t require a microwave or storing it in a refrigerator. I simply pack an avocado, slices of toast, and a butter knife in my bag. It’s also so delish and filling thanks to the avocado. Trust me, just about everyone at work knows this is my go to breakfast. For lunch, I am having a mixed greens salad with Italian vinaigrette, tomatoes, and sliced almonds and green grapes on the side. Doesn’t that sound delish?

For dinner, I am eating a crockpot meal. My current favorite is marinated pork and sweet potatoes with a side of broccoli. For dessert, I have some watermelon. My goal for my meals is to eat healthy, feel full, and not deprive myself of what I want to eat. What I’m eating is delicious and filling to me which makes me happy!

However, I did eat some not so healthy things over the weekend lol. On Friday night, I started craving greasy food lol. My husband got me some Jack tacos. Don’t judge me! Haha. On Saturday, I couldn’t say no to Chick-fil-A especially since my sister was buying. Sunday, it all went out the window LOL. I ate a donut (yum), barbecue, and enchiladas. Before you leave this post, hear me out. This food journey is about balance. I ate five not so healthy meals of 21 total meals for the week. That means I ate healthy meals 76% of the week! I don’t feel guilty for what I ate.

This week is going to be amazing because I have my It Works products!!!! I have the Greens so I can get herbs, superfoods, veggies, and fruits in one convenient powder that I put in my water. It gives me energy when I leave work exhausted. Also, I started the ThermoFit which will help me burn fat. I am literately so excited to try my Fat Fighters this weekend and on my trip so I can eat a little crazy and the Fat Fighters will absorb the carbs!!! I’m excited to see my results! I will definitely keep you posted.

Exercise & Sleep

I went to Camp Gladiator four times a week. It was Peak week so oooeee, I was dripping in sweat. At one point, I had to close my eyes so sweat would stop pouring in my eyes.

Sleeping early is so difficult for me. There is so much to do and so little time between preparing my meals, working out, work, spending time with my husband, the blog, and getting ready for my trip.
I chose this picture below because it describes my first week. It was great.
How are you doing? What do you think of my meal plan? Help a girl out!
