Los Angeles

12:38 PM

I know a place where the sun is always shining.

When we landed, the temperature in LA was 60 degrees and I thought we were going to freeze especially coming from Texas summer heat. We flew to LAX and got a rental car, which I highly recommend! We got a car through Midway. The staff was helpful and friendly.

With our car, we drove to the Griffith Observatory. The sight and views of LA are incredible. Then we went to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and got on a roofless van for a tour. To end the first perfect day in LA, we got In n’ Out. We started our second day at Venice beach. It was my very first time at the beach. It was amazing and all I could think about was God’s glory as the waves hit my feet. After the beach, we went to the Jay Leno show lol and then watched the sun set in the Pacific at the Santa Monica Pier.

Our third day was a girl’s dream come true. We did some shopping at Rodeo Drive and the Grove. Both are such pretty shopping centers. The Grove had delicious lunch options. We had dinner at a really romantic restaurant in Beverly Hills. The next day was incredible with Urth Café, going to the DASH store, and Malibu beach! For dinner, we went to WP 24 and saw beautiful night views of LA. The next day we went to see Greg Laurie preach. Afterwards, we went to Newport Beach and had the most amazing Acai bowls. We went to the LACMA and had to get Urth again!

I was able to make one of my dreams come true and go to Disney Land. It was AMAZING. No words to describe the experience. On our last day, we enjoyed the beach and some Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles mmmmmm.
